Serve as a client-facing technical resource throughout design and construction.

Participate in site observations and help resolve field-related design questions.
Contribute to local client development, relationship management, and strategic growth.

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
10\+ years of mechanical design experience within the MEP consulting space.
Strong HVAC design background for building systems projects.
Experience leading projects, teams, or mechanical design scopes.
Strong understanding of applicable building codes and industry standards.
Ability to communicate clearly with clients, owners, architects, and project teams.
Experience preparing design documents, calculations, specifications, and reports.
Comfortable managing multiple projects and priorities.
Strong service mindset with the ability to build trust with clients and internal teams.
Preferred Experience

LEED accreditation is a plus.
Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, energy modeling, or IES-VE is helpful.
Experience supporting business development, client relationships, or local market growth is a plus.
Why This Opportunity Stands Out
This is not a narrow production role. It is a senior-level opportunity for someone who wants influence, visibility, and a real leadership path. The firm offers a hybrid work model, strong benefits, career development support, employee ownership potential, bonus eligibility, and the chance to work with a collaborative team focused on high-performance building design.
The right candidate will have the opportunity to help shape the local mechanical practice, mentor rising engineers, and serve as a trusted technical partner to clients.
