Senior Mechanical Engineer

Exciting opportunity to get in on the ground floor with an early-stage space startup. A wide range of backgrounds and experiences will be considered. Standout candidates will ideally have prior experience designing flight-critical components/subsystems from concept through qualification and launch AND/OR experience in end-to-end design and fabrication of manufacturing infrastructure (e.g. tooling, molds, jigs, fixtures, test rigs, etc).

Responsibilities

:

• Design, validate, and integrate clean sheet flight hardware AND/OR the hardware that supports rapid engineering and production.

Qualifications:

• End-to-end design of complex spaceflight hardware or experience building tooling/assembly hardware in fast-paced environments.
• Hands on experience with fast-paced machining, fabrication, assembly, and integration.
• Strong communication skills, ability to work autonomously and cross functionally.
• Ability to work in a startup environment with tight deadlines.
