Senior Mobile Systems Engineer (iOS Android)

Job Summary

Performs and implements assignments that implements activities that generally impact important components / processes of the specified functional area of the Technology operation. Work is received in short- and mid-term assignments that are important / complicated undertakings and regularly require the application of independent judgment. Operates within the context of approved methods.

Job Responsibilities

• Performs and implements the daily operational activities of the Technology engineering work function. This work may include responsibilities to deploy, operate, scale, tune and troubleshoot server systems, website, app infrastructure and/or other systems.
• Implements necessary and efficient fixes to ensure continuous operation. Installs, adjusts and enhances server systems and associated infrastructure to provide required availability, latency, scalability and efficiency.
• Participates in deploying software.
• Builds tools and scripts.
• Conducts software and/or system performance analysis and tuning, service capacity planning and demand forecasting.
• Influences standards and methods for operating services and systems.
• Interacts with internal and external peers and managers to exchange complex information related to areas of specialization.
• Anticipates and prevents problems and roadblocks before they occur.
• Has in-depth knowledge of systems administration.
• Demonstrates proficiency in most areas of the professional function and in-depth specialization in some.
• Mentors less experienced members of the team.
• Deploy, operate, scale, tune and troubleshoot website and/or app infrastructure and server systems.
• Works cross-functionally to accomplish assignments. Interacts with internal and external peers and managers to exchange complex information related to areas of specialization.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of experience in a technical role OR High school Diploma / GED and at least 5 years of experience in a technical role.
• Experience in Technology infrastructure, such as Infrastructure, Systems, Databases, or similar
• Experience configuring/administrating moderately complex technical solutions
• Experience establishing \& maintaining relationships with individuals at all levels of the organization, in the business community \& with vendors.
• Experience analyzing and reporting data in order to identify issues, trends, or exceptions to drive improvement of results and find solutions.
• Willing to travel up to/at least 10% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics
• Experience identifying operational issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems.
• Experience with programming languages, such as Python, Bash or PowerShell.
• Knowledge of IT technologies, such as Workspace One, Intune, JAMF.

Salary Range:

$98600 - $157500 / Salaried
