Senior Operations Manager – Power Generation (Houston, TX)

Seeking a Senior Operations Manager to lead multi-site operations across a distributed and mobile power generation portfolio.

This role is responsible for overseeing field operations across multiple locations, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient execution of projects and services. You will lead regional teams, support customer deployments, and serve as a key operational escalation point.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead multi-site power generation operations across regional field locations
• Oversee mobile and distributed generation assets (diesel generators, gas turbines, reciprocating engines)
• Drive safety leadership, compliance, and operational excellence
• Support field execution and customer project delivery
• Manage and develop site and regional operations teams
• Improve operational performance, uptime, and service KPIs
• Frequent travel required (30–40%, higher during onboarding)

Requirements

• 10\+ years’ experience in power generation or heavy industrial operations
• Strong experience with turbines, diesel generators, and reciprocating engines
• Proven multi-site or regional operations leadership experience
• Strong safety and compliance background
• Experience in mobile, rental, or distributed power strongly preferred
• Willingness to travel extensively
