Senior & Principal Software Engineers (Full Stack)

Multiple Tech Roles: Senior \& Principal Software Engineers (Full-Stack / AWS Next-Gen)

Location: Philippines - BGC, Taguig City

Hiring Team: Post-Trade Technology

Shift: Hybrid (3x/week) Mid shift aligned with EMEA timezone

We are actively building a new squad based on the latest cloud-native technology and architecture. You will be working alongside AWS and learning from the best.

We are currently hiring for both Senior Engineers (execution and delivery focused) and Principal Engineers (technical authority and architecture focused) to join this greenfield initiative.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-End Delivery:

Take ownership of the design, development, testing, and deployment of software across the team, developing well-tested software into low-latency, event-driven production environments.

• Cloud \& Architecture:

Evolve systems towards a target-state microservices architecture using AWS serverless technologies.

• UI/UX:

Develop robust, highly responsive user interfaces using modern React and TypeScript.

• Principal Level Additions:

For those applying at the Principal level, you will act as the primary technical leader and custodian for the target state architecture. You will mentor junior members, lead estimation conversations, conduct rigorous code reviews, and share complex technical designs with non-technical stakeholders.

Technical Requirements

Frontend Core:

• Strong proficiency in

React

, Redux, ReactQuery, and modern JavaScript frameworks.

• Expertise in

TypeScript

, HTML5, and CSS3 (Experience with Tailwind is highly desired).

• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and WebSockets.

Backend \& Architecture:

• Proficiency in backend programming languages, with

C# (.NET 8\+)

highly desired (TypeScript, Node.js, or Java also considered).

• Strong experience with Microservices Architecture and strong database knowledge (SQL and NoSQL).
• Deep understanding of Pub/Sub patterns with messaging technologies (such as Solace, AMQP, or AWS equivalents).

Cloud \& DevOps:

• Heavy, hands-on experience with the

AWS cloud ecosystem

(AWS Lambda, AWS Fargate, Amazon API Gateway, AWS AppSync).

• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code, specifically

Terraform

• Experience with Containerization (Docker) and maintaining code quality via CI/CD pipelines in an enterprise environment.

General Requirements

• 5-8\+ years

of professional software engineering experience for the Senior level (8-10\+ years highly preferred for the Principal level).

• Proven experience working within Agile cross-functional delivery teams (JIRA).
• Excellent communication skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving and demystifying ambiguity.
• Bonus:

Knowledge of Financial Markets, Electronic Trading Systems, and Over the Counter (OTC) products is highly advantageous.
