Job Description
EthosEnergy is currently seeking a Senior Procurement Specialist for our Houston, TX facility. The Senior Procurement Specialist is responsible for leading complex procurement activities, developing sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring cost-effective purchasing that aligns with business objectives. This role requires strong analytical skills, commercial acumen, and the ability to collaborate cross functionally to support operational and strategic goals.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end procurement activities, including strategic sourcing, supplier selection, contract negotiation, and purchase order execution
- Develop and implement category strategies to optimize cost, quality, delivery, and risk
- Manage supplier relationships and performance, including KPIs, scorecards, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Negotiate complex commercial agreements, terms and conditions, and long-term supply contracts
- Conduct market analysis, benchmark pricing, and evaluate total cost of ownership (TCO)
- Partner with internal stakeholders (engineering, operations, finance, legal, and project teams) to align procurement strategies with business needs
- Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies, ethical standards, and applicable regulations
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks related to quality, delivery, financial stability, and geopolitical factors
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost-saving initiatives with measurable financial impact
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior procurement staff as needed

Experience
- 5\+ years of progressive experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management
- Demonstrated success negotiating contracts and managing strategic supplier
- Proven track record of delivering cost savings and process improvement
- Knowledge of working with ERP/MRP systems (Epicor \& Nav)
- Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Experience in manufacturing, energy, industrial services, or capital projects environments
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or professional certifications (CPSM, CIPS, CSCP, PMP)
