We are now looking for a

Senior Product Owner

Key responsibilities:

• Shape and own the product roadmap for strategically significant products.
• Contribute to Group-level portfolio prioritization.
• Act as senior product owner of one or more strategically important products.
• Ensure development directions are in line with AW Group-level architecture.
• Prioritize the product backlog based on business value and architectural fit.
• Manage complex or cross-area business demands.
• Lead senior stakeholder discussions and align competing priorities.
• Oversee and control business acceptance of developments.
• Ensure product quality.
• Maintain relationships with development, project and product teams.
• Manage the approved budget for the assigned strategic product(s).
• Direct and liaise with external development or implementation partners relevant to the product, including coordination of their deliverables within the product scope.
• Maintain the product roadmap and backlog; keep development priorities current and flag risks or blockers to the Head of Digital Services / Senior Product Lead in a timely manner.
• Arbitrate complex demand prioritization and handle escalations across business areas.
• Cooperation partners: Head of Digital Services, Senior Product Lead, Product Owners, Business Analysts, senior business stakeholders, project/program managers, development teams.
• Provide professional guidance and mentoring to Product Owners and Business Analysts (professional coordination, not line management).
• Build constructive relationships with business stakeholders and delivery teams.
• Communicate transparently and assertively, share information effectively, and give and receive feedback.
• Demonstrate customer focus, teamwork, ownership and professional accountability.

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 6-10 years of Product Owner and/or IT Business Analyst experience.
• Proven experience in managing complex digital products, product roadmaps, and backlogs.
• Experience in

balancing business priorities

, technology constraints, and architectural requirements.

• Experience working with key

business stakeholders.

• Experience in system implementation projects.
• Strong business analysis, stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
• Solid understanding of digital product delivery, enterprise applications, and business processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Experience mentoring Product Owners and Business Analysts.
• Professional proficiency in Hungarian and English, both written and spoken.
• Proactive, accountable, and ownership-driven mindset.
• Strong planning, prioritization, time management, teamwork, and adaptability skills.

It would be a plus, if you have:

• Proven business experience in retail and/or wholesale environments is a huge advantage.
• Experience in the automotive industry.
• Experience with Microsoft Business Central and Microsoft Dynamics products.
• Experience with Jira and Confluence.
