Senior QA Engineer

Summary

We're seeking a Senior QA Engineer to help deliver reliable, high-quality software through thoughtful testing strategies and scalable automation. You'll play a key role in ensuring product quality by designing automated test solutions, validating complex systems, and working closely with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong technical skills with curiosity, attention to detail, and a passion for continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain automated testing systems and frameworks
• Create, execute, and automate comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, and data integrity testing
• Investigate defects, debug issues, and perform root cause analysis
• Review product and technical requirements to ensure they are testable and clearly defined
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Software Engineers, and QA Engineers throughout the development lifecycle
• Maintain documentation for test plans, test cases, and testing processes
• Prioritize testing efforts based on risk, severity, and release timelines
• Generate testing reports and proactively communicate quality metrics and results

Core Requirements

• 6\+ years of experience testing modern software applications across the full technology stack
• Strong experience building and maintaining automated testing frameworks
• Proficiency with at least one programming language such as Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, or C#
• Solid experience testing Web Service APIs
• Hands-on experience with one or more testing frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, Jest, NUnit, xUnit, or TestNG
• Experience working with document databases such as MongoDB
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins
• Familiarity with Kubernetes
• Experience with Docker and containerized environments
• Experience working with AWS, Azure, or other cloud platforms
• Familiarity with performance testing tools such as JMeter
• Experience working with Kafka
