Job Description
JCW is working on a search for a Senior Software Engineer to join a lean, cross-disciplinary engineering team developing software and firmware for regulated medical devices.
This is a high-ownership role -the majority of the time you'll be the accountable software lead on a project, working directly alongside systems, electrical, and mechanical engineers from requirements through verification. What you'll bring:
- 5\+ years of embedded software experience with strong C in bare metal or RTOS environments
- Regulated industry background - medical device and IEC 62304 strongly preferred, other regulated environments considered
- Full lifecycle ownership: architecture through verification, working closely with QA and cross-functional teams
- ARM-based microcontroller experience is a plus
- Must be local to the Minneapolis area or willing to relocate on your own
