The Role
:
MHP is seeking a Senior Solution Architect to lead the architecture and execution of enterprise SAP transformation initiatives for global and strategic clients.
This role is responsible for defining and governing end-to-end SAP solution architecture across complex implementation, modernization, and optimization programs. You will ensure alignment between business strategy and technology execution by designing scalable, integrated SAP landscapes that support long-term operational and digital transformation goals.
As a senior architecture lead, you will serve as a trusted advisor to client executives and senior stakeholders, providing strategic guidance on SAP roadmaps, architecture direction, and transformation planning. You will influence key architecture and design decisions, ensuring solutions are scalable, resilient, and aligned with enterprise standards.
You will work closely with client leadership, delivery teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to guide solution execution, resolve architectural challenges, and ensure successful delivery of enterprise SAP programs.
This role requires a strong balance of architecture leadership, strategic thinking, and client engagement, with the ability to operate effectively across both technical and executive audiences.
You will play a critical role in advancing MHP’s position as a trusted SAP transformation partner by delivering high-quality, enterprise-grade solutions that enable measurable business outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Define and lead end-to-end SAP solution architecture across implementation, transformation, and optimization initiatives
- Design scalable SAP landscapes, including S/4HANA, cloud and hybrid environments, integrations, and supporting platforms
- Provide architectural guidance across functional and technical teams to ensure alignment with business and technical objectives
- Establish standards, best practices, and governance for SAP solution delivery
- Serve as a trusted advisor to client stakeholders, including IT leadership and business executives
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring alignment between business strategy and SAP solutions
- Provide strategic guidance on SAP roadmaps, transformation planning, and system evolution
- Support business development efforts, including solution positioning, proposals, and client growth initiatives
Qualifications:
Experience
- 10\+ years of experience delivering and architecting SAP solutions across enterprise environments
- Proven experience leading SAP implementation, transformation, or application management initiatives
- Strong experience with SAP S/4HANA and core SAP modules such as Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or Logistics
- Demonstrated ability to design complex SAP landscapes, integrations, and solution roadmaps
- Experience managing client relationships and leading delivery teams
- Strong understanding of SAP implementation methodologies and lifecycle management
Skills
- Strong understanding of SAP architecture, integration strategies, and enterprise system design, including:
- SAP/S4 HANA architecture and deployment models
- SAP Integration technologies and middleware
- SAP cloud and hybrid environments
- Cross-module SAP integrations (Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Logistics, etc.)
- Strong delivery experience, including project oversight, risk management, and stakeholder alignment
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence technical direction and architecture decisions
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field
- SAP certifications, architecture certifications, or project management certifications are a plus
Percentage of required travel: up to 80%
Physical requirements:
- This job operates in an office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, cameras, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
- While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to talk, hear, walk, sit, stand, climb stairs on occasion with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to effectively work and complete tasks in an open office/noisy environment.
- Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time while traveling in a car or airplane.
The salary range for this role is $145,000-$185,000\. However, it is important to note that at MHP, compensation range is dependent on geographic location. Individual salaries within each range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge and skillset. MHP reviews compensation regularly and may adjust base salaries to reflect market competitiveness.
