Senior Technical Recruiter (Contract)

2\. About the Opportunity:

The Senior Technical Recruiter (Contract) role involves owning the full-cycle recruitment process for technical positions. This position is responsible for managing requisitions, collaborating with hiring managers to define role requirements, sourcing candidates, conducting assessments, and guiding candidates through the interview process. The role is critical in ensuring a healthy pipeline and successful hires over a 6 to 9 month contract.

3\. Responsibilities:

• Manage full-cycle recruiting for technical roles from intake to offer closure

• Collaborate with hiring managers to define role scope and hiring strategies

• Source and engage passive technical talent beyond inbound applications

• Conduct structured phone screens assessing candidates’ technical skills and fit

• Guide candidates through the interview process, maintaining communication and engagement

• Use pipeline data to identify bottlenecks and adjust sourcing strategies

• Represent the organization’s hiring standards consistently through outreach and negotiation

4\. Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in technical sourcing or recruiting, with at least 3 years independently managing full-cycle searches

• Proficiency with advanced talent platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Gem Sourcing, and other technical sourcing tools

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and searches with minimal supervision

• Strong communication skills for handling sensitive information and offer negotiations

• Preferred experience recruiting at companies of similar size and stage

• Experience recruiting for data, infrastructure, or security roles is a plus

• Familiarity with ATS and sourcing tools like Gem or Ashby

• Knowledge of AI tools to enhance sourcing efficiency is beneficial

5\. Pay Range and Compensation Package:

• This is a 1099 independent contractor position offering an hourly rate of $100 to $150 based on experience and scope

• The contract duration is 6 to 9 months and does not include employee benefits
