We’re hiring an early team member who can own client relationships and thestrategic decisions that drive results — with a real opportunity to grow with thecompany as we scale.
The role
You’ll be the person clients trust. You’ll respond fast, lead calls, keep workmoving, and make strong strategic calls on content, SEO, and GEO/AEO priorities.This role is perfect for someone who is organized, proactive, and genuinely enjoysleading client relationships while thinking strategically — and who is excited aboutAI-powered search becoming the next major channel.
What you’ll do:
- Client relationship ownership:
Own the day-to-day client relationship forassigned accounts, respond to client requests quickly and clearly, and leadbiweekly or monthly client calls (agenda, notes, next steps).
- Strategic planning \& execution:
Create and execute SEO strategies alignedwith each client's goals, resources, and constraints, and improve visibility inAI-powered search (GEO/AEO). Make strategic recommendations onkeywords, content direction, on-page priorities, and campaign improvements.
- Delivery management:
Ensure plans get executed on time by coordinatingwriters, designers, and developers to ship deliverables, QA work before itships (links, formatting, on-page essentials), and keep Notion updated so thewhole team stays aligned.
- Proactive retention:
Spot churn risks early and proactively improve the clientexperience.
What we're looking for
- U.S.-based with excellent written and spoken English.
- Strong organization and follow-through.
- Experience coordinating freelancers or cross-functional work.
- Comfortable owning client communication and leading calls.
- Strong working knowledge of SEO and content marketing.
- Familiarity with GEO/AEO concepts, or the ability to learn extremely fast andexecute them with rigor.
- You don't need a "pure SEO" background
— but you do need strongmarketing experience, strategic thinking skills, and a passion for building long-term campaigns that deliver real-world results.
- You should be confident managing client communication, mapping multi-month roadmaps, and delivering a white-glove service experience.
- Proactive, innovative mindset. You bring solutions, not just updates, and yougenuinely care about client success.
- You're excited to test new ideas, improve processes, and find better ways toserve clients and drive results—including exploring solutions through AI,vibecoding, and other emerging tools.
