Marketing

Requirements

• SEO/AEO Audits:

+ Audit a website for technical issues, optimization improvement possibilities, internal linking structure, backlinks, and GMB optimization audit

+ Perform all of these "fixes"

+ Write up a "templatized" audit for a client

• Keyword Research/Content Brief Creation:

+ Build content lists for a given silo

+ Understand how keywords should "cluster" (e.g., should this term be on its own page or a supporting keyword on another page targeting a higher level keyword with the "same" meaning)

+ Ability to take a keyword and create an appropriate outline for the writing brief (pick headings)

• Optimizations:

+ Understand which parts of a page are the most important to optimize

+ Understand "siloing" and why it is important

+ Understand and optimize internal linking

+ Ability to optimize an image or video

• Web Savvy:

+ Understand HTML and Wordpress - experience with many builders a PLUS

+ Server experience

+ VPS experience

• Tools - Familiarity With:

+ Ahrefs/Semrush

+ POP/Frase/Writerzen

+ Screaming Frog/Website Auditor/Sitebulb

+ Local Viking

• Bonus:

+ Link building experience - automated, outreach, syndication (WE DO NOT BUY LINKS, PERIOD)

+ GA4 tracking methods that provide PROPER attribution (we hate seeing conversions in the (not set) category)

+ Ability to build advanced schema

+ Experience with tuning websites to improve site speed (core web vitals)

Job Duties

You will be responsible for auditing client accounts and implementing strategic plans to increase rankings and AI visibility for sites within healthcare. This is not a content writing position. This position is focused on optimization of existing content, web architecture, and off-page signals.

Qualifications

A college degree is not required for this position. We happily accept experience and results in lieu of formal degrees. Previous experience with SEO and web development.
