Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for an SMR / MMR Nuclear Scientist specializing in Advanced Reactor Design and Safety, with partial work-from-home flexibility. The successful candidate will focus on designing and analyzing advanced reactor systems, ensuring safety compliance, and conducting regulatory and technical risk assessments. The role includes collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to innovate reactor concepts, improve their performance, and address technical and regulatory challenges. Additional responsibilities may include preparing technical documentation, and contributing to the research and development of advanced energy technologies.

Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in advanced reactor design, simulation, modeling, and safety analysis
  • Proficiency in nuclear engineering tools and computational methods for reactor analysis
  • Understanding of nuclear regulations, licensing, and safety standards within the industry
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct technical research and development in nuclear science
  • Exceptional analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams
  • Ph.D. or Master’s degree in Nuclear Engineering, Physics, or a related field
  • Experience working with SMR or MMR reactor projects is highly desirable
  • Previous experience in project management or technical leadership is an advantage
