The Snowflake Center of Excellence (CoE) is focused on building, developing, and delivering holistic data solutions leveraging Snowflake and its evolving data platform. Snowflake’s product roadmap has expanded to meet a wider range of customer needs and is a major player in the data ecosystem that is well-positioned for continued growth and strategic alignment with our work.
What You'll Do
The Snowflake CoE is comprised of passionate technologists committed to refining and mastering their craft. As a Snowflake Engineer, Consultant, you will:
•
Design, develop, and optimize data solutions using Snowflake and related cloud technologies.
•
Build and maintain data pipelines, transformations, and scalable data models.
•
Work within Agile delivery teams to implement client data platform solutions.
•
Collaborate with clients and teammates to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
•
Develop solutions using SQL, Python, and modern data engineering tools.
•
Support data quality, performance tuning, and platform optimization initiatives.
•
Contribute to the Snowflake CoE through collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous learning.
What You'll Bring
As a Consultant in the Snowflake CoE, you bring a growth mindset, strong technical foundations, and a passion for solving complex data challenges using modern cloud technologies.
Requirements
•
5\+ years of data engineering experience, including hands-on Snowflake development.
•
Strong SQL and data modeling experience.
•
Experience developing batch and/or streaming data pipelines.
•
Experience with Python or another object-oriented programming language.
•
Experience working with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
•
Familiarity with modern data transformation and orchestration tools such as dbt, Airflow, or Dagster.
•
Experience supporting analytics and reporting solutions using tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
•
Strong communication and client-facing consulting skills.
•
SnowPro Core Certification preferred.

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this role, we are hiring at the following levels and targeted base pay salary ranges.
For Boston, Los Angeles, San Diego, Seattle, New Jersey, New York, Washington DC, White Plains, Orange County etc the base salary pay ranges are as follows:
•
Consultant - $90,000 - $122,000
•
Sr.
Consultant - $116,000 - $159,000
For all other locations the base salary pay ranges are as follows:
•
Consultant - $85,000 - $112,000
•
Sr.
Consultant - $106,000 - $146,000
In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
