Job Description

Company Description

Hitt Brands is a family-run consumer products company that has been supplying major U.S. retailers since 2003\. We have 4 core values we live by:

Tenacious Grit

  • Punch above our weight • Always find a way • Finish strong

We are a scrappy, family-owned company competing against giants — and winning. We don't make excuses, we find solutions. We outwork, outthink, and outlast the competition because giving up is never an option. When the path isn't clear we find a way. When the work gets hard we lean in. When we start something we finish it strong.

Character Counts

  • Lead with heart • Show up for each other • Do the right thing

Who we are matters as much as what we do. With a family mentality, we treat every person — teammate, customer, or partner — with genuine care and respect. We have each other's backs, we lead with empathy, and we do the right thing even when no one is watching. Our character is the foundation everything else is built on.

Earn It Every Day

  • No ego, no entitlement • Never satisfied • Celebrate wins together

Nothing is given at Hitt Brands — everything is earned. We show up humble, hungry, and ready to work. There is no room for ego or drama, only results. We are never fully satisfied because there is always another level to reach. And when we win — we win together and celebrate together.

Our Customers' First Call

  • Exceed expectations • Protect their trust • Never take them for granted

Our customers can always depend on us. We don't just meet expectations — we exceed them. We protect the trust our customers place in us like it is our most valuable asset, because it is. We find the win/win in every situation and never take a single customer relationship for granted. Being their first call is something we earn every single day.

The Brand and Packaging Designer brings our brand to life through thoughtful, engaging, and accurate visual design. This role focuses on executing packaging and visual assets that are consumer-friendly, retail-ready, and on-brand across physical and digital channels.

You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to turn product ideas into clear, compelling visual stories—ensuring every SKU looks great on shelf, online, and in customers’ hands.

Packaging Design

  • Design and update packaging graphics for new products, line extensions, and revisions.
  • Apply brand standards consistently across SKUs and packaging formats.
  • Prepare print-ready artwork and production files.
  • Support packaging changes driven by cost improvements, compliance updates, or supplier changes.
  • Minimize round of revisions to achieve efficiency in product development work flow.

Visual Communications

  • Create visual assets such as sell sheets, point-of-sale materials, catalogs, product inserts, and digital graphics.
  • Support e-commerce visuals including Amazon imagery, A\+ content, and retailer portals.
  • Translate product features and benefits into clean, easy-to-understand visuals.
  • Re-establish the Hitt Brand with a strong new design, brand guide and updates across all consumer communications.
  • Manage the Polarisoffroadproducts.com, 4thutensil.com and hittbrands.com to make our landing pages current and correct at all times.
  • Plan and coordinate social media campaigns through an approved social media calendar with engaging content for LinkedIn, TikTok and Instagram.
  • Best in class photography for all products in our catalog plus modular images, lifestyle and e-commerce images.

Collaboration \& Workflow

  • Partner with Product Development, Sales, and Operations teams to support launches and campaigns.
  • Incorporate feedback while maintaining brand integrity and design quality.
  • Coordinate with external designers, printers, and vendors as needed.
  • Use of database as a repository for imagery (packaging \+ e-commerce).

Quality \& Accuracy

  • Ensure accuracy of copy, barcodes, claims, dimensions, and regulatory content.
  • Maintain organized file systems on the server, version control, and asset libraries.
  • Assist with packaging audits to ensure consistency and quality.

Continuous Learning

  • Stay current on design trends, packaging materials, and print processes.
  • Contribute ideas to improve packaging efficiency, sustainability, and shelf impact.
