About the Role
The Social Media Manager at IvyWise owns the full, end-to-end picture: strategy, planning, content, execution, paid campaign oversight, and metrics. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, you'll work closely with a collaborative marketing team, but this channel is yours to build and grow. We're looking for someone who is strategic and creative, brings an exceptional eye for detail, and understands what it means to tell the story of a premium brand. This is a role for a professional who is ready to take full ownership and hit the ground running.
Responsibilities
- Develop, own, and execute IvyWise's social media strategy across all platforms.
- Lead content creation, scheduling, and publishing with a high standard of quality and brand consistency.
- Build and manage a forward-looking social media content calendar aligned with broader company campaigns.
- Drive audience growth and brand awareness by identifying new opportunities, trends, and platform innovations.
- Oversee the external agency managing paid social campaigns (e.g., Meta lead generation, LinkedIn, Reddit, YouTube), including campaign planning, launch, and ongoing optimization.
- Foster online community engagement, including responding to messages, comments, and interactions with followers, partners, potential influencers/partners, etc.
- Own and maintain brand voice, visual standards, and messaging consistency across all social channels.
- Define and track social media KPIs; produce regular performance reports with data-driven insights and recommendations.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and manage relationships with external partners, agencies, and content creators as needed.
- Stay current on social media trends, algorithm changes, platform updates, and best practices and proactively bring relevant insights back to the team.
Qualifications
- 3\+ years of social media experience with a proven track record of owning and executing end-to-end strategy and driving measurable growth.
- Strong written communication skills with an exceptional eye for detail and brand storytelling.
- Deep familiarity with social media platforms, scheduling tools, and analytics dashboards.
- Experience with interpreting and reporting on social media performance data.
- Experience with paid social campaigns.
- Proficient in video editing and short-form video production, with experience creating content for platforms like Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Experience working with or within luxury, premium, or high-end brands is a strong plus.
- Knowledge of or experience in the college admissions industry is a plus.
