Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic, driven Marketing \& Social Media Coordinator to join our growing Marketing team. In this role, you will plan and execute compelling marketing campaigns and hands-on social media content that engage fans and drive participation across our platforms. You will manage and grow social media for TheLinkU and assigned university accounts, from content calendar to publishing to community engagement, ensuring a consistent, on-brand presence that strengthens TheLinkU's standing at each partner institution. The coordinator will also play a key role in supporting the Sales and Partnerships departments, enhancing our revenue initiatives.
Responsibilities:*Marketing \& Campaigns** Develop and execute consistent social marketing campaigns that engage fans and drive participation
- Create internal marketing materials needed for TheLinkU and partners
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to align social campaigns with overall marketing strategies
- Work with the other Marketing Coordinator to ensure the Marketing Director’s vision is carried out across all campaigns
*Social Media Content \& Publishing** Own and execute the weekly content calendar across Instagram, X, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube, targeting 3-7 posts per week per platform
- Write captions, headlines, and copy for each platform, adapting tone and voice for each audience
- Design or brief graphics using brand kit templates for spec ads, carousels, and story frames
- Clip, trim, and caption short-form video (Reels, TikToks, X clips) from raw footage and podcast episodes
- Produce recurring weekly content series, such as a news roundup, a podcast highlight clip, a partner/company update, an educational explainer, and an athlete spotlight
- Maintain a master content calendar planned at least two weeks in advance and coordinate approvals and posting times through the team's social management tools
*Community Management \& Trends** Monitor accounts and manage engagement, including comments, DMs, and mentions
- Engage with athletes, brands, universities, and other NIL-related accounts
- Track NIL trends and breaking news opportunities, and escalate partnership inquiries or leads to leadership
*Paid Media Support** Support planning and execution of approved paid promotion and content boosting through Meta Business Suite and TikTok Ads Manager
- Prepare ad/boost creative, targeting parameters, and proposed spend for leadership review and approval prior to launch
- Report boosted/paid performance separately from organic KPIs in regular reporting
*Analytics \& Reporting** Analyze campaign and content performance and adjust strategies to maximize engagement and ROI
- Provide regular performance snapshots covering reach, impressions, follower growth, saves, shares, and link clicks
- Deliver monthly analytics reporting with summary insights and recommendations
Qualifications:* Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- Experience in marketing, with a focus on campaign management and hands-on social media execution
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and trends across Instagram, X, TikTok, and YouTube
- Experience with Meta Business Suite, Google Suite, MailChimp, and Canva; familiarity with scheduling/analytics tools (e.g., Buffer, Later, Sprout Social) and short-form video editing tools (e.g., CapCut, Descript) a plus
- Strong writing skills, with the ability to adapt tone and voice across platforms and audiences
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of interns and professionals
