Overview:
We are seeking highly skilled professionals to support a contract with the National Library of Medicine's (NLM) Office of Computer and Communications Systems (OCCS). We are hiring for multiple key positions in software development, cloud architecture, IT support, and data analytics.
1\. Software Architect
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain software applications.
- Implement responsive web-based applications.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare standards, medical terminologies, and cloud-based solutions.
- Provide architectural guidance and oversight for software development projects.
Requirements \& Certifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- Experience in software development using Python, Java, and SQL.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, PMP, or CISSP preferred.
2\. Senior Cloud Architect
Responsibilities:
- Lead cloud migration strategies for AWS environments.
- Design and implement scalable and secure cloud architectures.
- Develop automation scripts and cloud infrastructure using CloudFormation, Terraform, or similar tools.
- Ensure cloud security compliance and best practices.
Requirements \& Certifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Computer Science, or Engineering.
- 8\+ years of experience in cloud solutions and architecture.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional certification preferred.
- Strong understanding of security principles and compliance frameworks.
3\. IT Subject Matter Specialist
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical expertise in IT systems, cloud computing, and software development.
- Ensure compliance with IT security and risk management frameworks.
- Support automation initiatives and system optimizations.
Requirements \& Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree in IT or related field.
- Experience in IT security, DevOps, and cloud platforms.
- Relevant certifications such as ITIL, CISSP, or AWS certifications preferred.
4\. IT Platform Specialist
Responsibilities:
- Manage IT infrastructure, including on-premises and cloud-based systems.
- Support DevOps and CI/CD pipelines for software deployment.
- Maintain application server platforms and ensure high availability.
Requirements \& Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
- Experience with DevOps tools like GitLab, Jenkins, and Docker.
- Knowledge of both Linux and Windows server environments.
5\. Senior Data Standards Programmer
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain standardized medical language processing systems.
- Support data integration for electronic clinical quality measures (eCQM).
- Ensure compliance with healthcare data standards and terminologies.
Requirements \& Certifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Experience with SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, and NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with healthcare data standards such as HL7 and FHIR.
6\. Outreach and Communication Digital Analytics Specialist
Responsibilities:
- Manage Google Analytics, Tableau, and Qualtrics for digital data analysis.
- Support data visualization and dashboard development.
- Analyze user engagement and customer experience metrics.
Requirements \& Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Science, or IT.
- Experience in data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Strong understanding of web analytics and customer experience metrics.
7\. Senior Business Systems Analyst
Responsibilities:
- Gather and analyze business requirements for IT and healthcare applications.
- Support software development teams with data-driven insights.
- Ensure compliance with federal IT acquisition regulations.
Requirements \& Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or a related field.
- Experience in requirements analysis, business intelligence, and project management.
- PMP certification preferred.
8\. Technical Subject Matter Expert (SME)
