Position Title: Software Engineer
Compensation:
Full-time, Competitive Salary - commensurate with experience.

Scope \& Responsibilities of Software Engineer
: (Not limited to)
- Investigates problem areas, determines operational feasibility, and proposes solutions.
- Develops software solutions by studying information, needs, conferring with users and studying systems flow, data usage and work processes.
- Prepares and installs solutions by determining or establishing system specifications, standards, and programming.
- Improves operational conditions through systems analysis and by recommending changes in policies \&/or procedures.
- Provides data to support critical business decisions by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing service issues.
- Perform other job-related duties and projects as assigned by Supervisor/Management.

Education \& Experience for Software Engineer:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
- Relevant experience and/or training required; equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
Other Qualifications of Software Engineer:
- Ability to understand and follow basic oral and written instructions, plus ability to communicate both oral and written instructions to others
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to develop software in C#, JavaScript, PHP, or other programming languages
- Knowledge of SQL and relational databases
- Experience developing web applications using the Microsoft .Net Framework, PHP, or another comparable framework
- Experience with modern front-end web site creation tools and techniques, including HTML5, CSS, JavaScript
- Experience with data import, export, and manipulation, including .CSV files, XML and JSON
- Experience debugging applications
- Understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle
- Experience with software test plans and Source Code Management Software (Git)
- Successful completion of all company mandated \&/or job-related training programs deemed appropriate.
Physical \& Cognitive Demands of Software Engineer:
COGNITIVE DEMANDS: Meet deadlines, focus attention, work independently, independent judgment, work with a team, communicating, reading, comprehension, critical thinking/troubleshooting.
PHYSCIAL DEMANDS: seeing, speaking, hearing, sitting, walking, climbing, standing, reaching, listening, writing, driving, keyboarding. Push/pull/lift/carry or otherwise transport 35 pounds. Occasional travel may be required.
