  • Participate in architecture discussions, technical planning, and code reviews.
  • Develop automated tests and troubleshoot software defects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
  • Maintain technical documentation and follow established engineering standards.
  • Apply appropriate security practices when handling sensitive data and systems.
  • Continuously evaluate tools, technologies, and development practices to improve software quality.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Understanding of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming, and software design principles.
  • Experience developing, testing, and maintaining software applications.
  • Familiarity with APIs, databases, and backend application development.
  • Knowledge of debugging, automated testing, and version control systems such as Git.
  • Understanding of distributed systems, scalability, and application reliability.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with engineering teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with cloud infrastructure and distributed software systems.
  • Familiarity with containerization, automated deployment, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Knowledge of data processing, analytics platforms, or machine learning infrastructure.
  • Experience with Agile development and collaborative software engineering workflows.
  • A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
