Job Description

Software Engineer — Full-Stack (TypeScript / React / Python)

San Francisco \| Hybrid

We’re working with a

YC-backed, Series B software company in San Francisco

building core infrastructure for the

modern healthcare operations ecosystem

. This is not a consumer app or an analytics dashboard — it’s production software that directly impacts how care is delivered, scheduled, and reimbursed at scale.

The company has reached

\~$10M ARR

, serves large healthcare operators across the U.S., and is now focused on scaling a platform that teams rely on daily. They’re well past product-market fit and squarely in execution mode.

The Role

This is a true

full-stack product engineering role

with meaningful ownership. You’ll work across the stack, building features that span user-facing workflows and backend systems where correctness, reliability, and performance matter.

You’ll:

  • Own features end-to-end using

TypeScript, React, and Python

  • Work closely with product and domain experts to translate real operational problems into software
  • Contribute to backend APIs, data flows, and system design as the platform scales
  • Make pragmatic tradeoffs around maintainability, performance, and velocity

Tech Environment

  • Frontend:

TypeScript, React

  • Backend:

Python (API-first, service-oriented)

  • Infrastructure:

Cloud-based, production-scale systems with real uptime and data integrity requirements

What They’re Looking For

  • Experience shipping production software as a

full-stack engineer

  • Comfort operating in ambiguous problem spaces
  • Strong fundamentals and sound engineering judgment
  • Interest in working on software with

regulatory and operational impact

  • Open to in-person collaboration in SF (hybrid setup)

Why This Role

  • YC-backed, Series B,

\~$10M ARR

with clear momentum

  • Real customers, real usage, real consequences
  • Engineers influence product direction, not just implementation
  • Focused, low-ego team that values clarity and ownership
  • This is a strong fit for engineers who want to build

serious, durable software

in a regulated, high-impact domain — without early-stage chaos or big-company bureaucracy.
