THE ROLE

This isn't a maintenance job. You're joining a new NYC-based team building the core infrastructure that powers AI agents, data pipelines, and distributed systems at the heart of a product people genuinely love using.

You'll own projects end to end, work directly with the CTO and co-founders, and have real influence over architecture and product direction. The kind of ownership most engineers spend years waiting for.

THE STACK

Go, Kafka, Kubernetes, Redis, Postgres, AWS, Temporal, GraphQL

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

• 2\+ years of backend engineering experience
• Deep Go fluency, this one is non-negotiable
• Distributed systems design experience
• Hands-on experience building AI/LLM infrastructure or data pipelines
• Experience with Kafka, Redis, or Kubernetes
• Experience with modern AI tooling such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Codex

STRONG TO HAVE

• Background at a high-growth startup (Series A-C) or FAANG
• Founding or early-stage startup experience
• Side projects, hackathon wins, or evidence of building outside your job scope
