2\. About the Opportunity:
The Software Engineer (Quality Assurance/SDET Focus) plays a vital role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and scalability of healthcare technology products. This position involves developing automated testing frameworks and scripts, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and promoting quality engineering best practices to accelerate product delivery and maintain high software standards.
3\. Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks and scripts for web, API, and backend applications
- Collaborate with engineers, product owners, and analysts to understand requirements and design test strategies
- Integrate automated tests into continuous integration and deployment pipelines
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex software defects, documenting and tracking issues
- Identify and implement opportunities for automation, performance testing, and security scanning
- Analyze test coverage and execution metrics, reporting quality insights to leadership
- Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and Agile processes to embed quality throughout development
- Design and deploy AI-powered solutions addressing complex business challenges with responsible AI use
4\. Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years experience in Agile/Scrum teams using tools like Jira or Azure DevOps
- At least 3 years testing RESTful APIs with tools such as Postman or RestAssured
- Minimum 2 years professional experience in software engineering and test automation with tools like Selenium or Playwright
- At least 2 years experience with object-oriented programming languages such as Java, C#, or JavaScript/TypeScript
- 2\+ years designing and executing automated test suites using frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Cucumber
5\. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
- Salary range from $72,800 to $130,000 annually, based on full-time employment and candidate qualifications
