Job Description
We are an innovative Web3 project building the next generation of decentralized financial infrastructure. Our ecosystem includes tokenized assets, yield-bearing vaults, and cross-chain interoperability solutions. We are fully committed to transparency, security, and decentralization — and we’re looking for a talented Solidity Developer to help us maintain and expand our on-chain presence across EVM-compatible blockchains.
Position Summary
We are seeking a Solidity Developer to take ownership of our blockchain backend infrastructure on EVM chains (Ethereum, Polygon, Arbitrum, Base, etc.). In this role, you will be responsible for writing, deploying, testing, and maintaining smart contracts — including tokens, staking and yield vaults, and other core protocol components. You will work closely with our backend and frontend Web3 teams to ensure seamless integration between smart contracts and dApp interfaces.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, audit, and deploy secure and gas-efficient Solidity smart contracts.
- Maintain and upgrade existing token contracts (ERC-20, ERC-721, ERC-1155) and deFi vaults (e.g., staking, liquidity, yield strategies).
- Build and manage backend blockchain infrastructure, including node interactions (RPC providers), event listeners, and transaction relayers.
- Write and run comprehensive test suites using Hardhat, Foundry, or Truffle.
- Collaborate with frontend engineers to integrate smart contracts with Web3 libraries (ethers.js, web3\.js, viem).
- Monitor deployed contracts, handle emergency stops or upgrades (UUPS, transparent proxies), and respond to on-chain incidents.
- Document all smart contract logic, upgrade paths, and security considerations.
- Stay up to date with EIPs, ERC standards, and emerging L2/L3 EVM technologies.
Prior Experience \& Requirements
- 3\+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 2 years specifically writing production Solidity for EVM chains.
- Proven experience maintaining live smart contracts (tokens, vaults, or DeFi protocols) on mainnet — please provide GitHub or Etherscan examples.
- Deep understanding of EVM internals, gas optimization, and common security patterns (reentrancy, access control, front-running, slippage).
- Hands-on experience with Hardhat, Foundry, or Truffle.
- Familiarity with JavaScript/TypeScript for writing deployment and test scripts.
- Experience with OpenZeppelin libraries and upgradeable contract patterns.
- Knowledge of Git, CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions), and basic DevOps for node management.
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote, async environment within US time zones.
- Strong written communication skills — you will document code and collaborate via Discord/Notion/Github.
What We Offer
- Fully remote role — work from anywhere in the USA.
- Competitive salary (USD or stablecoin) \+ token incentives / equity potential.
- Opportunity to shape a live Web3 protocol with real users and TVL.
- Small, agile team with minimal bureaucracy.
- Budget for security courses, conferences, or audit training.
- Flexible hours — we care about output, not screen time.
