The Role:

Napster Corp is looking to bring on a Solutions Engineer. This is a high-velocity role at the center of Napster's commercial and technical growth, where deep AI fluency, consultative instincts, and the ability to operate across the full customer lifecycle come together to drive real business impact. You will have the opportunity to work in a challenging and engaging environment. The Solutions Engineer will play a critical role in bridging the gap between Napster's technology and its customers and partners — from the first technical conversation through to successful deployment and long-term account growth. This is not a hand-off role — you stay engaged, you stay curious, and you make sure every customer gets maximum value out of what Napster builds.

What you’ll do

  • Day to day responsibilities:

Lead technical pre-sales engagements including discovery calls, product demos, proof of concept builds, and RFP responses. Support post-sales implementation and onboarding to ensure seamless technical handoffs and successful deployment. Manage ongoing technical relationships with key accounts — identifying expansion opportunities, resolving technical challenges, and acting as a trusted advisor to customers and partners across the lifecycle

  • XFN Collaborators:

Work closely with Sales, Product, Engineering, Partnerships, and Customer Success teams — serving as the connective tissue between what Napster builds and what customers need

  • Deliverables:

Compelling technical demos and proof of concepts, solution architecture documentation, RFP and proposal responses, post-sales implementation plans, account health reports, and product feedback loops back to engineering and product teams

  • Impact:

You are the reason customers say yes, stay, and grow — your technical credibility and consultative approach directly influence revenue at every stage of the customer journey

What you’ll bring

  • BA/MA degree in a technical field and/or 5\+ yrs of experience in a solutions engineering, sales engineering, or technical pre-sales role with a track record of supporting complex deals end to end
  • Deep understanding of the AI landscape — you know the technology, the use cases, the key players, and how AI products are evaluated and bought by technical and non-technical stakeholders alike. This is not a nice to have, it's the job
  • Strong technical fluency in APIs, integrations, and SaaS architectures — you can read documentation, understand how systems connect, and speak credibly with engineering teams on both sides of the table
  • Proven ability to translate complex technical capabilities into clear, compelling business value — you make hard things sound simple without dumbing them down
  • Experience managing post-sales technical relationships and driving product adoption — you don't disappear after the deal closes
  • Tech or SaaS industry background strongly preferred — you understand enterprise buying cycles, procurement dynamics, and what it takes to get a deal across the line
  • Exceptional communicator — equally comfortable whiteboarding with a developer, presenting to a C-suite, or writing up a solution architecture doc

We’ll be extra pumped if you have

  • Hands-on experience with LLMs, APIs, or AI product integrations — you've actually built or configured something, not just talked about it
  • Experience working across both pre-sales and post-sales in the same role — you thrive in the full lifecycle and don't need a handoff to stay engaged
  • Familiarity with partner and ecosystem technical enablement — you've helped partners integrate and go to market with a product, not just end customers
  • Prior experience at a startup or scaleup where you had to figure things out without a fully built playbook and wore multiple hats without dropping any of them
  • A genuine passion for music, content, or the creator economy — a plus given what Napster is building

The base salary for this position is up to $120,000\. Base pay will depend on a variety of job-related factors, including education, certifications, experience, market demand, and location.
