Meta is firing people. Microsoft is paying people to leave. Even video game companies with successful games are throwing people overboard. I read in the news today that “young people out of college cannot find jobs,” and that “the entry level positions are now being filled by computer programs.” Hmmm…

I wonder what’s really going on?

Meanwhile, at Ridgeback we are growing. If you’re a technical sort with an aptitude for computer science or hacking, and an affinity for Rust, let us know. Pretty much everybody is expected to do anything. This might mean time with customers, time fixing broken things, time figuring things out, or time alone with code. You should enjoy learning from others and sharing your knowledge with others.
