We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our pediatric outpatient clinic in Osceola, United States. As a valued member of our collaborative healthcare team, you will play a crucial role in evaluating and treating children with speech, language, and swallowing disorders, helping them overcome communication challenges and improve their quality of life.
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess speech, language, and swallowing disorders in pediatric patients
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each child's specific needs and goals
- Provide therapy services using evidence-based techniques and innovative approaches
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care
- Educate and support parents, guardians, and caregivers on home-based strategies and exercises
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, progress notes, and treatment documentation
- Stay current with the latest advancements in pediatric speech-language pathology and incorporate new techniques into practice
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of our clinic's services
- Ensure compliance with all relevant accreditation standards and regulatory requirements
- Foster a positive and supportive environment for patients and their families
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Current state license/certification in speech-language pathology
- Minimum of one (1) year experience in pediatric speech pathology preferred; new graduates are encouraged to apply
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with a strong emphasis on interpersonal abilities
- Demonstrated competency in applying principles, methods, materials, and equipment used in speech therapy
- Familiarity with a wide range of pediatric speech and language disorders
- Experience with various assessment tools and therapeutic techniques for pediatric patients
- Strong documentation and record-keeping skills
- Knowledge of accreditation standards and compliance requirements in healthcare settings
- Willingness to provide therapy services at our outpatient clinic, with flexibility to accommodate patient needs
- Passion for working with children and a patient, empathetic approach to treatment
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry advancements
