Job Summary:

The Sr. Analyst, Training Content designs and delivers effective training solutions that support consistent execution across Popeyes restaurants. Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Operations Training, this role partners with cross-functional teams and vendors to translate operational priorities into clear, engaging learning experiences that drive operational excellence and a strong guest experience.

RBI follows a 5 day, in-office work schedule to support collaboration. Candidates should be comfortable working onsite 5 days per week.

Roles \& Responsibilities

Training Content Development \& Design: 50%

  • Design and develop execution-focused training materials, including job aids, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), execution guides, videos, and eLearning modules for restaurant Team Members, Managers, and District Managers.
  • Apply adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies (e.g., ADDIE, SAM, experiential learning) to ensure content is practical, engaging, and easy to apply on the job.
  • Translate complex operational, marketing, and technology concepts into clear, plain-language content for frontline teams.
  • Create and manage visual assets (photos, videos, graphics) that support learning objectives and operational clarity.
  • Use instructional design and creative tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, InDesign), Articulate Storyline 360, Adobe Captivate, Canva, and video editing software.

Stakeholder Partnership, Project Management \& Vendor Coordination: 25%

  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to align training with operations priorities and validate accuracy.
  • Recommend appropriate learning modalities (digital, video, performance support) based on business needs and field realities.
  • Lead multiple training projects from concept through launch, managing timelines, milestones, and priorities.
  • Coordinate with external vendors to develop content, ensuring deliverables meet quality, brand, and timeline expectations.
  • Incorporate stakeholder and field feedback to continuously improve training quality and effectiveness.

Performance Enablement \& Continuous Improvement: 25%

  • Analyze operational performance data and field feedback to identify learning needs and root causes.
  • Design targeted learning solutions tied to measurable operational outcomes.
  • Own the lifecycle of Operations Training content, including audits, updates, version control, and retirement of outdated materials within team SharePoint.
  • Communicate training updates through established channels and support field teams with training-related questions.

Skills \& Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience developing training content, preferably in multi-unit, operations-driven environments; restaurant industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency with instructional design and creative tools, including Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects), Articulate Storyline 360, Adobe Captivate, Canva, and related software.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning theories and instructional design methodologies.
  • Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint skills.
  • Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills .
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Passion for Learning \& Development and continuous improvement.
