Sr. Business Analyst

FedTec is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Business Analyst to support Agile/Scrum-based application Operations and Maintenance and enhancements concurrently for three (3) operational systems. Application support efforts translate to medium to large complex projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all analysis deliverables as defined by the client contract including release requirements, user stories/acceptance criteria and other documentation such as release notes and testing artifacts. Responsibilities includes conducting fact-finding with client business line owner via analysis of existing systems for production issues encountered and enhancements required. This role requires expertise and certification as Certified Scrum Master (CSM) in Agile principles, including eliciting high-level requirements, defining user stories and business acceptance criteria along with a deep understanding of client business processes while concurrently supporting application developme

Primary Responsibilities :

• Manage project work as defined by client contracts, ensuring adherence to client expectations, project scope, timelines, and budgetary constraints proactively identifying and addressing any issues or risks that may arise.
• Lead analysis and all documentation efforts for medium to large complex projects for multiple operational applications concurrently.
• Conduct fact-finding and analysis activities to gather and document business requirements and user stories with acceptance criteria to support application development activities.
• Develop and present application demonstrations to clients, effectively communicating findings, conclusions, and recommendations when appropriate.
• Utilize Agile principles to drive project delivery and ensure responsiveness to changing client needs and priorities.
• Possess expert knowledge in areas such as business processes, executive coaching, leadership/profile assessments, consulting, and matrix organization operations.
• Mentor and coach junior analysts, providing guidance and support to develop their skills and capabilities.
• Support application documentation quality assurance review and testing as required.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required, preferably degree in computer science, engineering, information security, or similar discipline. Master's degree preferred but optional.
• Active Certified Scrum Master (CSM) required
• Minimum of 6 years of intensive experience with Agile projects and scrum project methodology (Jira software experience preferred), requirements management, and software testing.
• Strong analysis skills, with the ability to lead complex projects discussions with business owners and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Expertise in Agile principles and methodologies, with a track record of applying Agile practices to drive project success.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to conduct in-depth analysis and develop actionable insights.
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, adapting quickly to changing priorities and requirements.
• Collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
• Must be able to obtain a Public Trust security clearance.
• IIBA certification preferred but not required.
