Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and detail‑oriented

Compensation and HRIS Analyst

to support the design of competitive compensation programs and the administration of Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS). This dual‑function role is responsible for ensuring accurate HR data, effective system utilization, and data‑driven compensation decision‑making.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Participate in and assist with the development, implementation, and administration of compensation and HRIS policies and programs.
  • Formulate recommendations related to salary structures, FLSA classifications, job revisions, and organizational design.
  • Participate in and analyze salary surveys to assess market positioning and develop compensation recommendations.
  • Conduct market benchmarking and internal equity analyses to establish competitive salary ranges and pay grades.
  • Apply HRIS and data analytics expertise to extract and analyze current and historical workforce data for strategic planning purposes.
  • Administer annual compensation programs, including merit increases, bonuses, and promotional adjustments.
  • Maintain, configure, and optimize HRIS platforms to support efficient HR operations.
  • Develop and maintain HR dashboards and complex reports related to headcount, turnover, compensation, and pay equity.
  • Perform regular audits of HR data to ensure accuracy, data integrity, and compliance with applicable labor laws and regulations (e.g., CCPA, FLSA).
  • Monitor federal, state, and local compensation‑related laws and regulations to support organizational compliance.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in compensation analysis, HRIS administration, or HR analytics.
  • Broad, practical knowledge of compensation methodologies and HRIS tools.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and complex formulas.
  • Strong analytical, prioritization, interpersonal, problem‑solving, presentation, budgeting, project management, and planning skills.
  • Experience with SQL and/or data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI is preferred.
  • Hands‑on experience with major HRIS platforms (e.g., UKG or similar systems).
  • Exceptional attention to detail when maintaining spreadsheets, databases, reports, and communications.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret compensation‑related data and statistical information.
  • Experience with international compensation practices, including global benchmarking, salary structures, and pay practices.
  • Demonstrated strong business acumen.
