Overview

We are seeking a

Senior Data Architect

to lead the design and evolution of a complex, multi-brand eCommerce data platform. This individual will operate as a

Data Domain Lead

, owning architecture across multiple systems and driving scalable, compliant, and high-performance data solutions in a multi-tenant environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and own enterprise-level data architecture across domains such as

orders, inventory, pricing, and customer data

• Build and optimize

event-driven data pipelines

and

Change Data Capture (CDC)

frameworks

• Architect scalable

multi-system, multi-tenant data platforms,

ensuring data isolation and integrity

• Define and enforce

canonical data models

across enterprise systems (ERP, OMS, CRM, payments, etc.)

• Lead

data migration and integration efforts

across multiple brands and platforms

• Implement and maintain

data governance frameworks

, including PII handling and regulatory compliance (PCI-DSS, GDPR)

• Partner with cross-functional teams to drive architecture alignment and present decisions to leadership
• Support

AI/ML data initiatives

, including feature stores, data lineage, and advanced analytics use cases

Required Qualifications

• 10\+ years of experience in

enterprise Data Architecture

(not just engineering)

• Strong hands-on experience with:
• Event-driven architecture
• CDC pipelines
• Deep expertise in

eCommerce data domains

(orders, inventory, pricing, customer)

• Experience designing

multi-tenant / multi-system data platforms

• Strong experience with

Snowflake or similar data warehouse/lakehouse technologies

• Solid understanding of

PCI-DSS and GDPR compliance

, including data governance and PII handling

• Proficiency in

Java and/or Python

• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across technical and business teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AWS services such as

S3, Glue, EventBridge, DMS, EMR, and RDS

• Exposure to

AI/ML data pipelines

or feature store architectures

• Background in

retail, eCommerce, or multi-brand environments
