Position Summary

The Senior HRIS Specialist is a highly skilled systems expert responsible for the administration, configuration, optimization, and support of the organization’s Human Capital Management (Dayforce) system and related workforce technology platforms, including ManageEngine (service ticketing center).

This role combines deep technical expertise with strong business acumen to support HR operations, reporting, integrations, compliance, and system enhancements. The Senior HRIS Specialist partners closely with HR, Payroll, IT, Finance, and external vendors to ensure accurate data management, seamless system functionality, and continuous process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

HRIS Administration \& System Expertise

  • Execute full lifecycle HRIS responsibilities including business process configuration, security administration, report development, system updates, and end-user support.
  • Oversee daily administration of Dayforce, ensuring best-practice system setup and consistent data integrity.
  • Troubleshoot system issues and drive corrective actions in partnership with HR, IT, and vendors.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy, compliance, and data governance standards are maintained.

System Enhancements \& Integrations

  • Participate in identifying, testing, and implementing system enhancements and updates.
  • Assist with execution of system changes including new configurations, integrations, and process automation.
  • Perform bulk data uploads using Enterprise Integration Builder (EIB) and other tools.
  • Support payroll interface audits and ensure seamless integration between systems.
  • Understand Dayforce release updates and evaluate impact on integrations and downstream systems.

Reporting \& Analytics

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize HR reports and dashboards.
  • Deliver accurate and actionable data to support leadership decision-making.
  • Leverage advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, advanced formulas) to analyze and validate data.
  • Maintain strong understanding of HR metrics, compliance reporting, and workforce analytics.

HR Operations \& Process Support

  • Support the design, documentation, and improvement of HR operational processes including onboarding, offboarding, employee data management, and benefits integration.
  • Assist with legal and client audit requests by providing accurate system reporting and documentation.
  • Oversee and support related workforce systems including recognition platforms, engagement tools, and onboarding systems.

Qualifications

Required Experience

  • 5\+ years of progressive HRIS experience with hands-on system configuration and administration.
  • Strong expertise in Dayforce (configuration, reporting, security, updates).
  • Experience supporting system integrations and payroll interfaces.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, advanced formulas).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail with ability to identify and recommend improvements.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Dayforce integration tools including:

+ Packaged Integrations

+ Enterprise Integration Builder (EIB)

+ Document Transformation

+ Calculated Fields

+ Report Writer

  • Experience supporting service management platforms such as ManageEngine.
  • Experience in system testing, UAT coordination, and documentation of business requirements.

*The good faith base salary [or wage] range for this role at the time of posting and hire is

$120,000 – $130,000

per year. Actual compensation offered will be determined based on a number of factors, including but not limited to a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible an annual performance.*
