Sr. IT Project & Program Manager

2\. About the Opportunity:

The Sr. IT Project \& Program Manager will play a critical role in managing IT vendor relationships, software lifecycle, and budget planning. This position drives strategies and processes to optimize IT resources, including software, SaaS, cloud, hardware, and consulting agreements. The role supports decision-making through financial analysis and collaboration across multiple departments to ensure efficient use of technology investments and vendor contracts.

3\. Responsibilities:

• Represent the organization’s global IT asset footprint and identify cost-saving opportunities

• Collaborate with IT and business teams to onboard AI tool pilots and manage compliance requirements

• Analyze financial and business data to support IT management in decision-making and performance improvement

• Partner with Procurement and IT to review invoices and contracts for accurate budgeting and cost optimization

• Assess vendor history and current/future licensing needs to establish license positioning

• Prepare and execute Quarterly Business Reviews for strategic vendors, analyzing performance and growth opportunities

• Manage Software Asset Management (SAM) tools to analyze software spend and develop optimization roadmaps

• Support IT team budget development and forecasting in coordination with leadership and finance teams

4\. Requirements:

• 5\+ years in Software Asset Management or related roles with expertise in software licensing, SaaS, cloud, and enterprise spend management

• 5\+ years managing vendor engagements including onboarding, renewals, contract analysis, and Quarterly Business Reviews

• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills with advanced spreadsheet proficiency

• Effective written and verbal communication skills for preparing executive-level materials and presenting insights

• Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Procurement, Finance, IT leadership, legal, security, and business stakeholders

• Experience supporting strategic vendor and software investment decisions aligned with business needs

• Proficiency with SAM, discovery, financial, contract, and vendor management tools

• Experience working in Agile or sprint-based environments to improve processes and deliver results

• Preferred experience onboarding emerging technologies or AI tools with coordination across compliance and security teams

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or related field, or equivalent experience
