Salary will be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.

  • Estimated annual base pay: $134,000(minimum) - $167,000(midpoint) - $201,000(maximum)

We are seeking a senior Strategy \& Business Development leader with private equity, investment banking, or Wall Street execution experience to independently lead strategic transactions and growth initiatives. This role will own the end-to-end deal lifecycle from target identification through diligence, valuation, negotiation, and close—while partnering closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role for someone who thrives in ambiguity, moves fast with rigor, and brings both strategic altitude and roll-up-your-sleeves execution.

What You Will Be Doing

  • End-to-End Deal Leadership: Own the full lifecycle of M\&A, divestitures, joint ventures, and strategic investments- from sourcing and screening through diligence, valuation, negotiation, and close.
  • Target Identification \& Market Scanning: Proactively identify, evaluate, and prioritize acquisition and partnership opportunities aligned to strategic growth priorities.
  • Transaction Execution \& Diligence Management: Lead financial modeling, valuation, synergy analysis, and business case development. Manage diligence workstreams across Finance, Legal, Operations, HR, IT, and external advisors.
  • Executive Partnership: Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership. Prepare investment memos, executive readouts and materials with clear recommendations and risk assessments.
  • Post-Merger Integration (PMI) \& Value Realization: Partner with functional leaders to ensure smooth integration, synergy capture, and accountability for deal value delivery.

What We Are Looking For

  • M\&A / Transaction Expertise – Proven experience executing complex transactions in PE, IB, or corporate development environments.
  • Financial Acumen \& Valuation – Advanced modeling, valuation methodologies, ROI analysis, and capital allocation discipline.
  • Strategic Thinking – Ability to connect market trends, competitive dynamics, and long-term strategy into actionable opportunities.
  • Independent Execution – Comfortable running deals end-to-end with minimal oversight. Brings structure to ambiguity.
  • Analytical Rigor – Synthesizes large volumes of qualitative and quantitative data into clear insights and recommendations.
  • Negotiation Skills – Confident, commercial negotiator who can balance firmness with relationship building.
  • Executive Communication – Crisp, compelling communicator with presence in the room and clarity in the deck.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership –Able to orchestrate diverse teams without formal authority.
  • Project Management \& Drive – Relentless about timelines, quality, and follow-through.
  • Market \& Industry Insight – Deep curiosity and understanding of industry dynamics, competitive landscapes, and growth vectors.

Experience \& Education

  • 6\+ years of experience in Private Equity, Investment Banking, Strategy Consulting, or Corporate Development with direct deal execution responsibility. Demonstrated experience leading transactions independently.
