Key Responsibilities
- Be accountable for a scalable, long-term user experience vision, while balancing a tactical strategy for the shorter term roadmap
- Partner with executives across Netflix to identify business opportunities, and help illustrate the user experiences that capture these opportunities
- Drive the integration of casual entertainment experiences (those you can easily dip into, and drop out of) across the portfolio, driving a scalable UX vision while delivering immediate impact
- Ensure quality of craft and design, and cohesion across all platforms, partners, and offerings
- Partner closely with multi-disciplinary team members to define this new area of business
- Drive a human-centered design process for defining an experience strategy and executing features from concept to launch
- Innovate to meet new business and member needs while leveraging and contributing strategically and tactically to the overall IA and design system, accounting for delight, flexibility, and scalability
- Articulate the experience vision through strong visual storytelling to drive shared understanding and alignment across the company
- Be a strong thought leader with our cross-functional partners
- Facilitate collaborative work sessions with all levels of company stakeholders
- Be a fierce advocate for our members from around the world
Skills, Characteristics \& Qualifications
- 10\+ years of experience designing user experiences for consumer-facing products
- Exceptional communication skills, in writing and verbally, whether in small group discussions, large-scale presentations, or with executives
- Understanding of engagement patterns of casual entertainment experiences for mobile and TV
- Track record of designing experiences that create a sense of community
- Experience collaborating with merchandising, marketing and content teams on promotion strategies/campaigns
- Demonstrated success in driving 0-1 initiatives forward
- Strategic thinker who can articulate a compelling product vision
- Ability to dive into a space, gather context, synthesize, and make impact quickly
- Demonstrates great judgement on asking the right questions and determining the work that needs to be done to push the business forward
- Is a fierce advocate for the user, and has the courage to speak up and influence
- Skilled at connecting the dots across related initiatives and fostering cross-functional collaboration
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and distilling complex, unstructured opportunities into actionable roadmaps that integrate user, technology, and business needs
- Proven ability to deal with complex initiatives with deadlines and requirements from various teams, while not losing sight of long-term experience goals
- Strong systems thinker
- Known for high-quality craft and detailed execution of designing patterns for discovery and engagement across multiple UI platforms.
- Skilled in Figma’s advanced features, such as Autolayout, Components/Variables, DevMode, Responsive Prototypes, etc
- Great at receiving and giving feedback
This role is based in UCAN, ideally on the west or east coasts. Expect to travel monthly to meet with your teams, stakeholders, and partners.

Generally, our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $460,000\.00 - $710,000\.00\. This compensation range will vary based on location.

We also offer paid leave of absence programs. Full-time hourly employees accrue 35 days annually for paid time off to be used for vacation, holidays, and sick paid time off.
