Staff Quality Engineer

For our client, we are seeking a Staff Quality Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space.

This role will help strengthen the quality of technology solutions that support healthcare operations and member-facing processes. You will partner closely with business analysts, developers, and Agile teams to ensure requirements are understood and that testing coverage is thorough. The position is focused on validating software functionality, data accuracy, and end-to-end regression coverage to help deliver reliable solutions on schedule.

Location: Remote

Compensation: $130,295 – $260,590 annually

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Perform functional, regression, integration, UI, and data validation testing
• Manage defects through resolution and documentation
• Collaborate with business analysts and developers to clarify requirements
• Assess impacts and ensure adequate regression coverage
• Deliver high-quality solutions on schedule
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and manage test cases aligned with user stories

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field
• 5\+ years in Software Quality Assurance or application testing
• Experience in Medicare or health insurance, with focus on claims and member benefits
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Hands-on experience with test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various testing types
• Proficient in test automation tools like Selenium or Power Automate
• Ability to write and execute SQL queries for data validation
