Strategic Sourcing Specialist

LHH is working with a manufacturer near the DFW airport that is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Specialist for a Direct Hire position. The role will be hybrid and involve travel to Mexico. They are strongly seeking a degreed, Bilingual candidate, with true strategic sourcing experience. This role will a highly analytical role and 100% be about strategic sourcing and providing options and supply alternatives for future problems in their supply chain. It will report to a VP of Strategic Sourcing who has a spent a decade in strategic sourcing as a lead, manager, and director, and will be a career advancing opportunity. Benefits are available on Day One and there is a 10% bonus. Salary range is flexible based on candidate experience.

Compensation:

\~$90,000 base salary \+ \~10% bonus \+ full benefits starting Day 1

Duties:

Lead strategic sourcing initiatives including identifying and onboarding new suppliers, developing dual sourcing and contingency plans to mitigate risk, partnering cross-functionally with engineering and operations to support new product launches and cost reduction, and building long-term supplier strategies focused on future supply chain stability

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering or related field, 5\+ years of experience in strategic sourcing or supply chain with demonstrated supplier development experience, strong strategic thinking and analytical skills beyond transactional purchasing, and ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams while managing global supplier relationships; bilingual Spanish is strongly preferred
