About The Opportunity

This is an exciting time to join Partners Life as we continue our growth journey. We are seeking a motivated

Strategy Analyst

to join our dynamic Strategy Team within the Office of the CEO. The Strategy Team leads enterprise strategy, portfolio planning, prioritisation, and monitoring, and guides cross-functional strategic initiatives. You will play a key part in supporting the development, alignment and execution of our organisational strategy.

Reporting to the Chief of Staff, you will work closely with senior leaders across the business, providing high‑quality analysis, market insights and reporting to support strategic planning, execution and decision‑making.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting strategic planning processes by contributing analysis, insight and recommendations aligned to organisational objectives
  • Conducting market, customer and competitor research to inform strategic decisions
  • Developing quantitative analysis, models and insight packs to support planning and execution
  • Partnering with data and analytics teams to source, analyse and produce meaningful and high-quality dashboards \& reports for senior leaders and governance forums
  • Tracking and monitoring the progress of strategic initiatives, highlighting risks, dependencies and performance trends
  • Supporting portfolio monitoring and continuous improvement of strategy and reporting processes

About you

You are a technically capable analyst with a strong curiosity for strategy, commercial performance, and how organisations create long-term value. Ideally with experience from consulting, financial services or the healthcare sector (not essential), you are motivated by the opportunity to contribute to strategy development and make a meaningful impact through strong analytical insight.

You enjoy working with data, conducting market \& competitor research, and turning complex data into compelling, actionable insights that shape strategy and business outcomes.

As you continue to grow and stretch in your career, you can communicate effectively and build trusted relationships across the business and are comfortable engaging with and presenting to senior leaders.

Additional attributes that may help you succeed:

  • 2 - 4 years’ experience from a top‑tier consulting firm or an in‑house strategy /corporate finance/ analytics team
  • Tertiary qualification in Commerce, Finance, Economics or a relevant discipline
  • Strong structured problem solving and analytical capability (experience with Power BI or similar data visualisation tools), including quantitative analysis and basic financial modelling
  • Good commercial acumen and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent communication and strategic storytelling skills, with the ability to simplify complex information
  • A proactive, positive mindset and strong attention to detail
