Job Description
Company Description
We’re building FIHQ (Founder Identity HQ), an execution intelligence platform helping accelerators, investors and startup ecosystems measure founder execution, monitor startup progress and make better capital allocation decisions.
Our MVP is built and entering pilot validation with institutional customers. We’re looking for a Technical Co-Founder to help transform the prototype into a robust, production-ready platform while becoming a key member of the founding team.
This is an equity-only role for someone excited by building a category-defining company from the ground up.
Your Mission
Your focus during Phase 1 is making the platform technically credible, reliable and ready for institutional pilots.
You will:
- Own the technical architecture of the MVP and improve its long-term scalability.
- Strengthen platform stability, security and performance.
- Ensure data integrity across founder, startup and institutional workflows.
- Improve the reliability of our realtime execution scoring and telemetry.
- Work with Supabase, PostgreSQL and React to harden the existing product.
- Design clean engineering practices, documentation and version control.
- Join customer meetings when required to explain the platform’s technical architecture and build confidence with accelerators and institutional partners.
- Help define the technical roadmap beyond the pilot phase.
What We’re Looking For
You don’t need experience building a billion-user platform. You do need experience building software that customers can trust.
We’re looking for someone with experience in:
- TypeScript and modern JavaScript
- React / Next.js
- Node.js
- PostgreSQL
- Supabase or similar Backend-as-a-Service platforms
- API design and backend architecture
- Authentication and role-based permissions
- Realtime applications
- Git and collaborative software development
- Cloud deployment and production environments
Bonus experience:
- Early-stage startup experience
- B2B SaaS products
- Analytics or data platforms
- AI-assisted development tools
- Technical leadership or mentoring
What Success Looks Like
Within the first six months you will have:
- Stabilised the MVP for institutional pilots.
- Eliminated critical bugs and data inconsistencies.
- Built confidence in the platform’s technical architecture.
- Established scalable engineering standards and documentation.
- Helped convert pilot customers into long-term partners.
- Become a technical leader capable of growing the engineering team as the company scales.
Why Join?
This is an opportunity to become a founding technical leader in a company building execution intelligence infrastructure for the innovation ecosystem.
You’ll work directly with the founding team to shape the product, technology and long-term vision while owning meaningful equity in the business.
If you’re motivated by solving difficult technical problems, building reliable systems and creating technology with long-term impact, we’d love to hear from you.
