Test Engineer

Job Title: TEST Engineer – QA (Wireless / Networking)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced QA leader to drive system-level validation and quality assurance for next-generation wireless and networking products. This role requires strong expertise in test strategy, automation, and end-to-end validation across embedded systems, networking stacks, and cloud-integrated platforms.

You will work cross-functionally with engineering, product, and operations teams to ensure high-quality delivery of scalable and reliable solutions in areas such as 5G, WiFi, and broadband access technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute

QA strategy, test plans, and validation frameworks

for wireless/networking products

• Lead

system-level, integration, and end-to-end testing

across hardware, firmware, and software layers

• Build and scale

automation frameworks

for functional, performance, and regression testing

• Drive

test infrastructure development

, including lab/testbed setup and CI/CD integration

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (development, product, DevOps) to ensure quality throughout the SDLC
• Lead

root cause analysis, defect triaging, and resolution tracking

for production and pre-production issues

• Ensure

performance, scalability, and reliability validation

for large-scale deployments

• Mentor and guide QA engineers; establish best practices and processes

Required Qualifications

• 3\+ years of experience in

QA / SDET / validation engineering

• Strong experience in

wireless and networking domains

(WiFi, 4G/5G, TCP/IP, routing/switching)

• Proven expertise in

test automation using Python (preferred), or similar languages

• Experience with

system-level testing, integration testing, and end-to-end validation

• Familiarity with

Linux/Unix environments and embedded systems

• Hands-on experience with

CI/CD tools

(Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)

• Strong debugging skills using tools like

Wireshark, logs, and protocol analyzers

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with

CPE devices, broadband access, or wireless infrastructure products

• Exposure to

RF testing, OTA testing, or telecom protocols (3GPP, 802\.11, etc.)

• Experience with

cloud-integrated systems and distributed architectures

• Prior experience in

leading teams or mentoring engineers

• Familiarity with

test equipment (e.g., Spirent, Keysight, IXIA)
