Test Manager

Are you an experienced Test Manager with a passion for high-quality software and modern IT services?

Our financial services client is looking for a

Test Manager

to join exciting IT initiatives in Zurich.

You will actively shape and further develop test management within a large agile organization, working closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure software quality and project success.

Your responsibilities will include:

Test Planning \& Execution

• Take ownership of planning and executing all required testing activities in collaboration with testers, SMEs, and other test managers
• Promote agile testing principles and integrate testing early into the development process
• Enable project teams to take responsibility for quality, making continuous testing a central part of delivery

Collaboration \& Alignment

• Align at the project level with test managers across Agile Release Trains (ARTs)
• Collaborate with test automation experts, DevOps teams, and business stakeholders
• Support cross-functional communication and ensure testing processes are integrated and efficient

Continuous Improvement \& Hands-on Support

• Drive continuous improvement by establishing and optimizing testing practices
• Actively support testing activities, defect analysis, and troubleshooting when needed

Required experience and skills

• Degree in Business Administration, IT, or related field (university or applied sciences level)
• Several years of experience as a Test Manager or in a similar role
• Experience with scaled agile frameworks such as SAFe or LeSS, and agile testing in large organizations
• Strong planning, prioritization, and self-organization skills
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and analytical abilities
• Experience with tools such as Tosca, Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, API testing tools
• Knowledge of test automation, test data management, or CI/CD concepts
• Advanced testing certifications (ISTQB Advanced Level, Agile Test Leadership at Scale, or Agile Tester)
• Fluent in German and English; Italian is a plus
