Role Overview

As a

UI/UX Designer

, you will shape end-to-end product experiences for millions of learners. Your designs will directly improve learning outcomes, user engagement, and business growth.

You won’t just design interfaces — you’ll help redefine digital learning in India and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

Product \& App Design

• Design intuitive interfaces for mobile and web applications
• Build seamless learning journeys: discovery → enrollment → learning → completion
• Create responsive layouts for desktop, tablet \& mobile
• Improve information architecture and navigation systems
• Balance user needs with business goals

Wireframing \& Prototyping

• Create low-fidelity and high-fidelity wireframes
• Build interactive prototypes in Figma
• Develop reusable design systems \& component libraries
• Present design solutions to stakeholders

User Research \& Testing

• Conduct usability testing \& user interviews
• Run A/B experiments to optimize conversions
• Build personas, journey maps \& empathy maps
• Use analytics to identify pain points and opportunities

Visual Design \& Branding

• Create icons, illustrations, vectors \& graphics
• Design landing pages and marketing creatives
• Maintain strong visual hierarchy and brand consistency
• Build delightful user experiences through micro-interactions

Collaboration

• Work closely with frontend developers for pixel-perfect implementation
• Deliver specs, assets \& style guides
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Marketing \& Content teams

Accessibility \& Quality

• Ensure WCAG-compliant accessible designs
• Optimize for responsiveness and performance
• Maintain design documentation \& standards

Innovation

• Stay updated with UI/UX trends, tools \& EdTech best practices
• Explore new motion design and engagement patterns
• Improve workflows and design processes

Required Skills \& Qualifications

Experience \& Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, Fine Arts or equivalent experience
• 0-2 years in UI/UX/Product Design
• Experience designing both mobile apps \& web products preferred

Core Tools

• Expert in Figma (mandatory)
• Components, Auto-layout, Prototyping, Design Systems
• Adobe Illustrator / Photoshop preferred

Design Skills

• Strong typography, color theory, spacing \& grids
• Iconography, illustration \& scalable graphics creation
• Production-ready files and handoff workflows

UX Skills

• Personas, journey mapping, usability testing
• Information architecture \& interaction design
• User interviews and research synthesis
• Accessibility \& inclusive design understanding

Communication

• Strong portfolio with real product/app work
• Ability to explain and defend design decisions
• Team collaboration mindset

Preferred Skills (Nice To Have)

• Motion Design (After Effects, Lottie, Principle)
• Basic HTML/CSS knowledge
• Experience with EdTech / SaaS / B2C products
• Hotjar / Mixpanel / Google Analytics
• React component libraries
• Design sprints \& workshops
• CRO knowledge
