About The Role

Inadev is seeking a highly motivated Junior UI/UX \& Visual Designer to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in shaping the visual identity and UI/UX strategies for a diverse portfolio of federal and commercial accounts. The successful candidate will work on innovative design projects, including emerging technologies such as identity intelligence, immersive tech, AI/ML, virtualization, augmented reality, and digital transformation initiatives. The position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to impactful projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and develop user-centered designs that enhance user engagement and satisfaction. The role requires a blend of creative design skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to work within an Agile environment, ensuring that design solutions meet both user needs and stakeholder expectations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2\+ years of professional UI/UX and Visual Design experience
• Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma
• Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design (HCD) principles
• Experience working within Agile frameworks
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-disciplinary teams
• Experience designing for multiple platforms and screen sizes
• Ability to create detailed wireframes, prototypes, personas, and journey maps
• Strong time management skills with the ability to produce accurate estimates
• U.S. citizenship and ability to pass a 7-year background check
• Willingness to work during Eastern Standard Time business hours
• Reside within the Continental United States; remote work acceptable outside DC/MD/Northern Virginia area

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute visual design and UI/UX strategies aligned with project goals
• Ideate and craft innovative design solutions to meet user and stakeholder needs
• Create detailed wireframes, high-fidelity prototypes, and responsive designs for various platforms
• Develop personas, user journey maps, and content flows to inform design decisions
• Organize and maintain design documentation, including style guides and libraries
• Present design concepts and solutions to team members, clients, and stakeholders
• Deliver clean, well-documented artifacts suitable for development and implementation
• Stay current with UX and design trends, integrating best practices into projects
• Collaborate closely with UX teams, developers, and stakeholders using Human-Centered Design principles
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, contribute to sprint planning, and ensure alignment with project timelines
• Develop user personas and stories, ensuring accurate reflection of user needs and acceptance criteria
• Engage in continuous feedback, iteration, and refinement of design work
• Communicate effectively with non-technical clients and internal teams to translate requirements into design solutions
