Today, Morning Made is stocked in 25,000\+ retail locations globally, with a rapidly expanding product range transforming how people start their day. We’re scaling quickly across the U.S. and internationally, and we’re looking for exceptional talent to help lead that growth.

Role Summary

This is a high-impact, revenue-driving role at the forefront of our US continued expansion.

You’ll own the full lifecycle of retail and foodservice partnerships across the US, supporting growth opportunities, prospecting, closing, and scaling relationships with major distributors, retailers, and operators.

Reporting directly to the CEO, your mission is to embed Morning Made into café menus, retail shelves, and back-of-house systems, building a best-in-class distribution footprint through strategic execution.

Key Responsibilities

New Business Development

  • Identify and secure new retail, foodservice, and distributor partnerships (e.g., Sysco, US Foods, UNFI, KeHE, GFS) across the U.S.
  • Drive outbound sales efforts including cold outreach, strategic pitching, and in-person meetings
  • Build and manage a high-quality pipeline, consistently converting opportunities into long-term partnerships

Account Management \& Growth

  • Own and grow relationships with key distributor, retail, and operator accounts
  • Drive reorder velocity, promotional activity, and multi-SKU expansion (Matcha, Chai, Turmeric, etc.)
  • Execute co-marketing campaigns, in-store activations, and menu integrations

Negotiation \& Pricing Strategy

  • Develop pricing models, trade terms, and rebate structures that maintain ≥50% gross margin
  • Lead negotiations across retail and foodservice contracts, SLAs, and volume commitments

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Supply Chain on forecasting, inventory planning, and launch execution
  • Collaborate with Marketing to deliver POS, retail assets, and training materials

Reporting \& Market Intelligence

  • Maintain a disciplined CRM pipeline (Salesforce/HubSpot) with accurate forecasting and deal tracking
  • Provide insights on market trends, competitor activity, and channel opportunities

Trade, Events \& Training

  • Represent Morning Made at major industry events (NRA Show, Expo West, SCA Expo, etc.)
  • Lead retailer trainings, distributor onboarding, and product education sessions

Required Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience

in retail, foodservice sales, or account management (preferably in coffee, CPG, or functional beverages)

  • Proven track record working with major distributors and/or retail accounts (Sysco, US Foods, UNFI, KeHE, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of retail and foodservice economics, including margins, trade spend, and contract structures
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Strong financial acumen (P\&L ownership, margin management, forecasting)
  • Experience with CRM and reporting tools (Salesforce/HubSpot, Tableau, Google Data Studio)
  • Willingness to travel for key accounts and industry events
