⚡ Position Summary
This is a
VP of Engineering
role leading engineering strategy, product development, and technical execution across the company’s power distribution portfolio.
The role will oversee engineering teams focused on utility and electrical infrastructure products including transformers, switchgear, protection systems, and related power distribution equipment. You’ll work closely with executive leadership, operations, manufacturing, and customers to scale engineering capabilities.
⚡ Key Responsibilities
Lead and scale multidisciplinary engineering teams across power distribution and utility infrastructure products
Drive engineering strategy, product development, and technical roadmap initiatives
Oversee design, manufacturing support, testing, and product lifecycle management for MV/HV electrical equipment
Act as the senior technical escalation point for complex customer and project-related challenges
Collaborate with utilities, EPCs, consultants, and industrial customers on technical requirements and solution development
Partner cross-functionally with operations, manufacturing, sales, and executive leadership to support company growth
⚡ Required Qualifications
- 15\+ years of experience within power distribution, utility infrastructure, or electrical equipment manufacturing
- Leadership experience managing engineering teams within transformers, switchgear, substations, protection \& control, or related power systems
- Strong understanding of utility power systems, MV/HV electrical infrastructure, and grid applications
- Experience working cross-functionally with manufacturing, operations, and customer-facing teams
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to support technical customer discussions and strategic growth initiatives
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required; PE license preferred
