A fast-growing, Series A–backed AI data security startup is looking for a

VP of Engineering

to lead and scale our engineering and AI teams during a pivotal growth phase.

You’ll partner directly with the CEO and product leadership to turn product vision into secure, scalable systems—while building and mentoring a high-performing team.

This is a

hands-on leadership role

for someone who thrives in early-stage environments and can operate strategically

and

tactically.

What you’ll do

• Own engineering strategy, execution, and delivery end-to-end
• Scale and lead a high-impact engineering org
• Set technical direction and architecture for data-intensive systems
• Help productionize ML-powered and agentic systems
• Balance strong process with startup-level velocity

What we’re looking for

• 15\+ years engineering experience, including senior leadership roles
• Proven success scaling teams and platforms at high-growth startups
• Strong systems/architecture background (distributed or data-heavy systems)
• Experience working with ML/AI-driven products
• Comfortable partnering with executive leadership

Nice to have

• Security, privacy, or data governance experience
• Post-Series A scaling experience
• Multi-cloud or hybrid/on-prem environments
