Title: VP of Strategic Partnerships (Affiliate Partnerships)

POSITION OVERVIEW

The VP of Affiliate Partnerships is a senior leadership role responsible for running and growing TWC's affiliate team. This is a people management position first. The VP owns the team, the budget, and the performance of the affiliate channel as a whole. Day-to-day relationship management with individual affiliate partners sits with the team; this leader sets the strategy, builds the organizational capability, holds the team accountable to results, and serves as an executive-level brand ambassador when TWC needs a credible, compelling voice in front of high-value partners.

TWC's affiliate channel is active and producing. We need someone who can step in, evaluate what exists, elevate the team, and drive the channel to its next level of performance. The right candidate is an experienced people leader with a strong background in performance-based marketing, a sharp instinct for talent and team development, and the executive presence to represent TWC's mission and brand at the highest levels.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Team Leadership

  • Lead, develop, and hold accountable the affiliate partnerships team, including managers and individual contributors responsible for day-to-day partner relationships.
  • Set clear performance expectations for each team member and establish a culture of ownership, accountability, and results.
  • Recruit, onboard, and retain top affiliate marketing talent as the team grows.
  • Coach team members on partner development, negotiation, and performance optimization best practices.
  • Create the systems, processes, and reporting infrastructure that allow the team to operate efficiently and at scale.

Strategy and Performance

  • Own the affiliate channel P\&L, including budget planning, spend allocation, and ROI accountability.
  • Define and track channel KPIs across revenue, partner performance, ROAS, and growth trajectory, and report results directly to the CEO.
  • Assess the current affiliate program across partners, commission structures, creative assets, and attribution, and develop a strategic plan to optimize and scale.
  • Establish a tiered partner architecture that distinguishes between micro-affiliates, mid-tier partners, and strategic brand partners, with differentiated support and compensation for each.
  • Partner with the paid media, email, creative, and product teams to align affiliate offers with active campaigns and product launches.
  • Oversee platform management (GoAffPro), ensuring accurate tracking, timely payouts, and clean reporting.

Brand Ambassador and Partner Engagement

  • Represent TWC at the executive level in conversations with high-value or strategic affiliate partners, lending credibility and reinforcing the brand's mission and values.
  • Step in to help close or deepen relationships with top-tier partners when the situation calls for senior-level engagement.
  • Serve as a knowledgeable, passionate advocate for TWC's products and physician-led approach when speaking with prospective partners.
  • Ensure that all affiliate partnerships reflect TWC's brand standards and that partner-generated content upholds the company's reputation as a trusted health and wellness authority.
  • Monitor compliance across the affiliate portfolio and proactively manage any risk associated with partner content or conduct.

WHAT YOU WILL OWN

This role comes with an existing foundation: active partners, a running program, and real revenue. You are stepping into a leadership seat, not an individual contributor role. From day one, you own:

  • A team of affiliate marketing professionals responsible for partner relationships and channel execution
  • The affiliate channel budget and full P\&L accountability
  • Channel KPI ownership and direct reporting to the CEO on performance
  • Strategic direction for partner mix, tier structure, incentive design, and offer strategy
  • Executive-level representation of TWC in high-stakes partner conversations

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 7\+ years of experience in affiliate marketing, performance partnerships, or growth marketing, with at least 3 years in a people management role leading a team
  • Proven track record of managing and developing high-performing affiliate or partnerships teams in health, wellness, DTC, or subscription-based businesses
  • Experience owning a channel budget and reporting on P\&L performance to senior leadership
  • Deep familiarity with affiliate platforms (GoAffPro or similar) and performance tracking methodologies
  • Executive presence and communication skills; able to represent a brand compellingly in front of partners, negotiate at a senior level, and inspire confidence internally and externally
  • Strong analytical fluency and comfort with attribution modeling, funnel analysis, and data-driven decision making
  • Experience building or restructuring affiliate programs and driving measurable improvement in channel performance
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with creative, product, compliance, and legal teams to align partner strategy with company priorities
  • A genuine belief in health freedom and proactive wellness; someone who can speak authentically about TWC's mission and products
