Video Editor (High-Retention YouTube \& AI Content)

• We are hiring a high-performance video editor to produce fast-paced, high-retention YouTube videos focused on AI, business, and operations
• This is not basic editing
• You will be responsible for transforming raw footage into engaging, high-retention content using modern YouTube editing styles inspired by:

+ Alex Hormozi

+ Charlie Chang

+ Patrick Dang

• The goal is simple: Every second of the video should feel intentional and engaging

What You’ll Be Doing

• Edit long-form YouTube videos (8–20 minutes)
• Apply high-retention editing techniques:

+ Rapid cuts (1–3 seconds)

+ Pattern interrupts every 2–5 seconds

+ Dynamic zooms and motion

• Add:

+ Bold on-screen text

+ UI-style graphics (tags, pills, overlays)

+ Cinematic effects (glow, blur, lighting)

• Incorporate B-roll:

+ AI, tech, startup visuals

+ Dashboards, interfaces, workflows

• Perform sound design:

+ Background music

+ Subtle SFX for emphasis

• Remove:

+ Filler words

+ Pauses

Security \& Privacy (Non-Negotiable)

• You must blur all sensitive information
• Hide:

+ API keys

+ Passwords

+ Usernames

+ Profile pictures

+ Chat sidebars (Telegram, etc.)

• This is non-negotiable

Editing Style (VERY IMPORTANT)

• Follow a high-retention AI explainer style:

+ Fast-paced, no static frames

+ Text-driven storytelling

+ Cinematic \+ modern tech aesthetic

+ Dark/minimal UI visuals

+ Glow effects for AI concepts

+ Strong visual emphasis on key ideas

• If a frame feels boring, it must be improved

Example Editing Requirements

• Hook must start immediately (no delay)
• Add motion within the first second
• Use visual emphasis on key statements
• Maintain constant visual change
• Example concepts:

+ “AI is here” → animated UI tag

+ “You will be left behind” → bold dramatic text

+ Stats → animated pill UI

Requirements

• Must Have:

+ 2\+ years video editing experience

+ Strong portfolio (YouTube or similar content)

+ Experience with:

• Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or similar

+ Ability to:

• Edit fast-paced content
• Follow structured briefs

• Strong Plus:

+ Experience editing for:

• YouTubers
• Content creators
• Business/education channels

+ Motion graphics experience

+ Understanding of AI/startup content

Deliverables

• For each video:

+ Final edited video (YouTube-ready)

+ Organized project files

+ Optional short-form clips (if needed)

Growth Opportunity

+ Help define the editing style

+ Work on multiple videos per week

+ Potentially lead editing systems and SOPs
