Job Description

We're a fast-scaling DTC men's brand running on Meta and YouTube. We're hiring a video editor.

We need an editor who thinks like a marketer.

Someone who can watch an ad and instantly see:

  • where the hook dies
  • where the viewer drops off
  • what emotion the cut should be reinforcing
  • whether the next 2 seconds of the ad earn the previous 2

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Edit 4 ads per day across Sales Letter, UGC, and Podcast Ad formats
  • Hop on regular calls with us to break down what's working, what's not, and how to push your ceiling
  • Iterate fast — kill weak versions, double down on what hits
  • Bring ideas, not just execution.

COMPENSATION (read carefully)

This isn't a flat freelance gig. You get paid two ways:

  • Pay per video basis
  • Perforamance based incentives, such as bonus and % of ad spend

REQUIREMENTS

  • Ecom experience is non-negotiable. You need to have cut ads for DTC brands before. Wedding videos, YouTube vlogs, and corporate explainers don't count.
  • A portfolio of past ad work — preferably ads that actually ran on Meta or YouTube. Links only, no zip files.
  • You can edit fast without sacrificing quality. Speed matters.
  • Ego-free. The bar is high. If your cuts come back with notes, you fix them and move on.
  • Strong English (calls are in English)
  • Reliable internet, reliable schedule

  • One paragraph: of those ads, which do you think performed best — and why? Talk about the marketing, not the editing.
  • Your rate per video

Pay: $22\.00 - $33\.00 per hour
